As a guide, observer and an aficionado I have been to some places in short time which has taught me a time of opulence in all ways. Some of those are Sakthan Thampuran palace museum, Hill palace museum, Mattanchery palace, Padmanabhapuram palace, Bolgatty palace, and so….. “SAKTHAN PALACE”- was built in the 17th century where we can see the tomb of the great ruler ever seen in the history of Cochin HH Maharaja Rama Varma. There he ruled the princely state Cochin and people so prosperity. “MATTANCHERY PALACE”- it is known as Dutch palace but it was built by the Portuguese in the 15th century, and gifted it to Maharaja of Cochin. Dutch did some renovation only but palace is known as Dutch palace. The palace is showcases intricate murals in tradition of Hindu temple art. Ramayana depicted in the 45murals, also a form of Vishnu in the form of Vaikuntha Natha as like in Thripunithura.
